    Abilene Gives: Abilene Philharmonic Association

The Abilene Philharmonic unleashes the power of music to entertain, educate, and inspire through live symphonic music and community engagement.

Originally a community orchestra, the Abilene Philharmonic has since grown into a professional symphony featuring world-renowned guest artists. Under the leadership of current Music Director, David Itkin, the Abilene Philharmonic has become the premier performing arts organization in Abilene and is recognized for its high artistic excellence. Maestro Itkin has masterfully assembled an orchestra of talented musicians and has set a precedent for superior artistic quality.

The upcoming concert season will mark 74 years of live symphonic music in the Big Country. On behalf of the Abilene Philharmonic team, we would like to thank our supporters for allowing us to continue sharing beautiful music for many years to come.
