Kingman couple hospitalized after pickups collide
RENO COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 9 a.m. Saturday in Reno County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Toyota Tacoma driven by Eddie E. Pinkley, 81, Kingman, failed to yield right of way at a posted stop sign and collided with a southbound 2022 GMC Sierra driven by Nicholas Robert Crockett, 46, South Hutchinson, at the intersection of Kansas 14 and U.S. 50 East Junction.
Arrest made in attempted murder in downtown Hutchinson Thursday
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Police made an arrest connected to a disturbance Thursday morning. According to a release from Capt. Dayton Gates, at approximately 8:33 a.m., officers were dispatched to 1st Ave and Main Street for a disturbance. When officers arrived on scene, they located a male victim with a laceration to his body. Another victim reported a male threatening him with a knife during the same incident.
Kansas man hospitalized after semi overturns
KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11 a.m. Thursday in Kingman County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Freightliner semi driven by Gustavo Alonzo Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 21, Wichita, was westbound on Kansas 42 at the Kansas 14 intersection. The driver failed to stop before turning onto Southbound K-14. He lost control of the vehicle and it overturned .

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Saltcity Cowboy Church is holding its annual Church in the Dirt this weekend at the McCullough Arena, 4702 W. 4th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. This year, the theme is God of Possible.
