North Vermilion has a new volleyball coach - Abbeville high's volleyball/basketball coach
LEROY – The North Vermilion Lady Patriots volleyball team has a new head coach and it’s a familiar face – Ashly Boudreaux. Boudreaux has been the head basketball and volleyball coach at Abbeville High since 2017. This past season she won her second consecutive district title and third overall with the Lady Cats’ basketball team.

Lafayette Police motorcycle officer highlights road safety following death of Maurice man
Sanford explained Thursday, May 2 at approximately 7:48 p.m. officers with the Lafayette Police Department Patrol division responded to the 4000 block of Ambassador Caffrey at Dover Boulevard involving a vehicle crash of a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
