4 arrests made at DUI checkpoint near west Columbus on Friday
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Franklin County DUI Task Force has released results from a sobriety checkpoint conducted within Prairie Township on Friday. The checkpoint was set up on Norton Road from 8 p.m. on Friday to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. Of the 457 vehicles came through the checkpoint during that time, 165 were checked.

Former Ohio State football star Marvin Harrison Jr. facing lawsuit
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State football wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.’s first pro football lawsuit came months before his first pro football game. Fanatics sued Harrison in New York Supreme Court for breach of contract. The company — a leading brand in sports apparel, trading cards and other products — alleges it signed a deal with Harrison last May in excess of $1 million. In the lawsuit filed Saturday night, Fanatics alleges Harrison has not lived up to the terms of that agreement.
3 people face federal charges after 'swatting' threat at Newark High School
Arrests have been made in connection to a "swatting" incident at Newark High School earlier this year. A federal grand jury in Baltimore has returned a superseding indictment against 18-year-old Owen Jarboe and 26-year-old Evan Strauss, Newark police shared in a press release. These charges are connected to the January shooting threat that targeted a teacher and unnamed students at the Delaware school, police said, along with other crimes stretching across the country from December 2023 to this past January.
