Police looking to ID several persons of interest in deadly shooting in downtown Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police is working to identify several persons of interest possibly connected to a deadly shooting in downtown Columbus on May 19. The shooting happened in the 300 block of Marshall Passage, near East Main Street, around 5:20 a.m. Officers were called to the area on a report of shots being fired.

Kroger now requires receipt checks and is banning large bags at six stores in the Columbus area because of increased theft. When shoppers enter the store, they see a sign that tells them a receipt is required when they leave.
