TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Severe Weather will happen today. Tornadoes are expected in northeast Kansas. Please watch WIBW-TV today and be weather aware at all times. Baseball sized-hail, 70 mile per hour winds, and multiple tornadoes are some of the risks today for all of NE Kansas. Storms are expected to form between 1 and 3 PM near the Wichita area, moving northeast into our region. Storms will continue into the evening hours, with a break expected overnight before more severe (though not as strong as today) storms Sunday morning/afternoon.

A mom is concerned for the safety of her daughter, who was reported missing nearly two weeks ago in Wichita. Alahna Musial, 17, was reported missing on April 13. It's believed that she's spending time near 37th and Rock in northeast Wichita, her mom shared. Some fear she's in a risky situation, so they've created a Facebook group called Bring Alahna Home to share information.
