State Police have arrested a Duanesburg woman for allegedly assaulting a person with a boxcutter. Troopers responded to the area of Plank Road in Clifton Park just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a dispute in a vehicle. The investigation determined that Tara M. Mariano, 38, displayed the weapon and injured the person.

Amsterdam woman killed in one-car Thruway crash
CATSKILL – An evening car crash on the northbound Thruway in the Town of Catskill has claimed the life of a 66-year-old Amsterdam woman, State Police report. The driver, Regina Levine, was driving between the Saugerties and Catskill exits at around 6:40 p.m. on April 19 when for an unknown reason, her 2004 Ford Escape, traveling in the passing lane, ran off the road, went through a guiderail, struck an earth embankment and overturned.
