ANDOVER, Kan. (KAKE) - Andover Deputy Fire Chief Mike Roosevelt says a home in the 300 block of Lexington Street near Kellogg and Andover Road caught fire Tuesday evening after a lightning strike. ANDOVER, Kan. (KAKE) - Monday marked two years since a tornado tore through the city of Andover damaging homes, a school and city structures. The National Weather Service said the April 29, 2022 tornado had peak wind gusts of up to 155 miles per hour. More than 200 families had to leave their homes from the damage.
