Two Topeka men behind bars for distribution of meth in Jackson County
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - Two Topeka men are behind bars for distribution of meth in Jackson County, Kan. According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Toyota Camry for a traffic infraction at about 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 near U.S. 75 Highway and Columbine Dr., north of Holton. During the traffic stop, a K-9 unit alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle, approximately 3.7 ounces of methamphetamine, a hallucinogenic drug, drug paraphernalia and a firearm were located.
