Man charged with trafficking drugs after allegedly throwing meth over prison fence
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) A Christian County man was charged on Tuesday after authorities claim he threw about 64.2 grams of methamphetamine over a fence on March 30 at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City. Lucas Robertson, of Oldfield, Missouri, was charged with first-degree drug trafficking and having a weapon at a correctional center. SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Over the weekend, the First Alert Weather Team kept an eye on a few rounds of strong to severe t-storms that rolled through the Ozarks. While Sunday morning started with rain across much of the area, the atmosphere got unstable enough to allow for a tornado watch to go out for parts of southwest Missouri at 5:15 p.m. For our Missouri counties, that watch only included Stone, Barry, Newton and McDonald counties. Outside of the watch, storms marched into Greene and Christian counties where a tornado warning went into effect around 8:40 Sunday night.
