Box truck rescued from water near Fordland in Webster County

UPDATE 4/27/24 : A member of the Logan-Rogersville Water Rescue team says the box truck was recovered from the water and no one was injured in the incident.

FORDLAND, Mo. – The Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District Assistant Fire Chief Lafferty confirmed that a water rescue is underway south of Fordland Friday night in Webster County.

According to the Assistant Fire Chief, the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, MSHP Troop D, and the Battlefield Fire Protection District are also responding.

The fire protection district and MSHP are reporting a box truck is stuck in the water near Olga Road and Rocky Ridge Loop.
