According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office officials, a search warrant was conducted at about 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at 409 E. 11th St. in Horton by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force.

(Mound City) -- One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Holt County late Tuesday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at the 76.6 mile marker of northbound Interstate 29 shortly before 11:30 p.m. Authorities say a 2018 Chevy Equinox, driven by 49-year-old Kevin Davis of Craig, was northbound on I-29 when it struck a deer in the roadway. As the Chevy slowed, authorities say it was struck from behind by a 2012 Freighliner Cascadia driven by 33-year-old Victor Andritchi of Boring, Oregon. The Chevy traveled off the east side of the road and came to rest on its wheels while the Freightliner came to a controlled stop on the shoulder.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Tuesday proved to be an eventful severe weather night across NE Kansas, many severe storms and confirmed tornadoes across the region. While damages and reports still need to be fully assessed, at least three tornadoes have been confirmed to have touched down in NE Kansas - one in Westmoreland, one in rural Nemaha County, and one a few miles northeast of Topeka, just north of HWY 24. As reports continue to be analyzed, more confirmed tornadoes may be revealed in the coming days.
