Fremont County Arrest Report
(Fremont Co) Two people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Fremont County. The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says on April 24th, Deputies, with assistance from the Fremont County K9 Unit, arrested 51-year-old Matthew Jeffrey Barnes and 51-year-old Serena Ann Scott, of Omaha, Nebraska in the 2300 block of Highway 2. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a non-plated vehicle. During the traffic stop, Fremont County K9 Storm was deployed and a search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Barnes was also found to have a felony warrant for his arrest out of Douglas County, Nebraska. Barnes was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute over 5 grams, Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Fugitive from Justice. He is being held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond on the Fremont County charges and without bond on the Nebraska warrant. Scott was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Scott is being held at the Fremont County Jail on $1,000 cash/surety bond.
Four Arrested on Drug Charges in Glenwood
(Glenwood) The Glenwood Police Department arrested four people on drug charges. Bret Samuelson, 52, of Glenwood, was arrested today for Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense.
