Boonsboro Vol. FD assists in horse rescue in Moneta
MONETA, Va. (WFXR)– The Boonsboro Volunteer Fire Department helped rescue a Horseshoe Bend Road in Moneta on Sunday, April 28. According to the fire department, crews responded at 11:17 a.m. to the 3600-block of Horseshoe Rd. with the large animal rescue trailer for a horse down in a stall and unable to get up. Crews immediately assisted in getting the downed horse out of its stall inside a barn.
