Londonderry man charged with DWI after crashing into utility pole
LONDONDERRY — A single-vehicle accident disrupted Route 28 traffic early Tuesday morning when a car veered off the road and struck a utility pole. At 12:56 a.m., Londonderry Police Department officers responded to the scene near Smith Lane, where they discovered a vehicle entangled among trees on the south shoulder with a severed utility pole and live electrical wires obstructing the roadway.
Springfield police seize loaded firearm from teen
SPRINGFIELD — On Tuesday at approximately 5:40 p.m., Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit (FIU) detectives, led by Sergeants Christopher Hitas and David Robillard, arrested a 17-year-old male after seizing a loaded firearm. Earlier that afternoon, the FIU received a tip regarding the teen’s illegal possession of the weapon.
