Teen indicted in connection to fatal shooting at Austintown apartment complex
An 18-year-old has been indicted and will be tried as an adult in connection with a shooting at an Austintown back in September when he was still a juvenile. According to a grand jury report 18-year-old Ethan Richmond was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday on one count of voluntary manslaughter and one count of felonious assault, both with three-year firearm specifications.

No jail time for Mineral Ridge woman who let toddlers roam highway
A woman with a history of child endangering won't go to jail for letting her children roam around State Route 46 unsupervised. De'Ayra Hudson, 25, of Mineral Ridge appeared before a judge in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Wednesday where she was placed on probation for three years. She could have been sentenced to a year-and-a-half in prison.
Lakeview Schools holds prayer vigil for seriously injured student
A community prayer vigil was held Saturday evening for a Lakeview Local Schools student that suffered a serious injury on Friday at track practice.
