Teen seriously hurt in I-35 rollover at Hinckley
Hinckley, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A 17-year-old is in the hospital after a rollover crash on I-35 in Hinckley. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, it happened around 1 a.m. Saturday morning. Two trucks were traveling south on I-35, driving side-by-side, before both lost control on the icy roadway.
Minneapolis Nudieland mass shooting: Charges filed against 2 teenagers
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Two teenagers have now been charged in connection to the Minneapolis Nudieland shooting that left one person and several others injured last summer. Dominic James Burris, 18, of Hinckley, and Cyrell Boyd, 17, of Onamia, are facing seven felony charges in juvenile court for aiding and abetting first-degree assault, aiding and abetting second-degree murder, and aiding and abetting second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon in connection to a shooting at Nudieland, a DIY concert venue in a Minneapolis backyard, that injured six people and left one person dead.

Hinckley, Minn. - An upcoming meeting plans to look at proposed concepts for Highway 48 through town. The meeting will be hosted by MnDOT on Tuesday, April 30 at 4:30 p.m. at the Hinckley City Hall Community Room. Currently, the project is in the study phase and no immediate projects are planned. The study and meeting hope to gather community feedback about the stretch of road and improvements that could be made in the future.
