Kids visit downtown, museum
In a signal that the end of the school year is fast approaching, Olney Elementary School students paid a visit to downtown businesses and the Olney Heritage Museum last week. It has become a tradition for the teachers and workers at OES to take the little students on some adventures towards the end of the school year, one such adventure is the annual trip to the Museum. The students excitedly descended on the Museum and were quickly broken up into groups and assigned a museum docent who would give the tour to the little ones. Laughter, oohs and ahhs could be heard all over the museum as children did a little bit of learning mixed with a little playing.
