Cubs fall to Lindsay Knights in Bi-District playoffs
The Olney Cubs battled the Lindsay Knights for the Bi-District Championship. The Cubs fought hard but were knocked out, losing in the first two games of a three-game series. Though the Cubs came up short in the Championship they have made great improvement this year under a seasoned coach, Braden Williams, who said his philosophy was to instill in the team that it was their team, and giving them ownership over how the season went.

Rodriguez moves to compliance post
Athletic Director Gunter Rodriguez has accepted the position, and will take over, as Director of Safety and Security and Coordinator of the Guardian Program at Olney Independent School District, and the athletic director and head football coach jobs will again be combined in the coming school year, OISD Superintendent Dr. Greg Roach said.
