Turki Faisal Aljarbou, 25, was killed in a crash at the intersection of Klondike Road and State Road 26 W in West Lafayette on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 3:08 a.m. The accident involved a 2012 Dodge Ram truck that, according to preliminary information, failed to stop at a stop sign, became airborne, and struck several trees in a wooded area.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A man was shot in the leg early Tuesday as he and others celebrated his 22nd birthday inside an apartment in the 1800 block of Shoshone Drive, according to Lafayette police. WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (PURDUE SPORTS) – The Big Ten Conference has announced the single-play and home-and-away conference opponents for the 2024-25 men's basketball season. For the seventh straight season, the league will play a 20-game league schedule and with the addition of the four West Coast teams, teams will play just three home-and-away contests during the upcoming season. Over the previous six years with the 20-game schedule, Purdue owns the league's best record with an 84-35 (.706) record, the Big Ten's best mark by eight-and-a-half games (Illinois – 76-44).
