Donald Denton Hanlin, 44, is charged with wearing, carrying and transporting a weapon; using a gun during a commission of a crime; possession with intent to distribute cocaine and opium; possession of cocaine and opium and their derivatives; possession of synthetic manufactured narcotics; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two injured in Walnut Street shooting incident Saturday
Two people received minor injuries during a shooting incident near Liquid Lounge on Walnut Street early Saturday morning, per a Morgantown Police release Monday. MPD responded to a shots fired call at approximately 2:51 a.m., discovering a female with a gunshot wound to her “left abdominal area,” the release said. The victim was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment.

According to WBOY, a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle shut down the westbound lanes of U.S. Route 50 Friday night and sent one person to the hospital.
