Tracking rain and storms this weekend
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Despite the showers on Wednesday, our week has been overall dry. It has also been very hot with temperatures into the upper 80s yesterday afternoon. We were only able to hit 88 degrees Thursday afternoon, so we were not able to tie the daily high record of 90 degrees. Now, we are still going to be unseasonably warm today, but with more cloud cover around during the afternoon, it will not be as hot as Thursday. Still, we are going to start off on the mild side with temperatures across the Mid-Ohio Valley in the upper 50s to lower 60s. By time we hit noon, we are back into the low 80s and will continue to climb into the mid-80s this afternoon.
