Fatal crash on I-55 near Meramec Bottom
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Northbound lanes of Interstate 55 were closed Sunday evening following a multi-vehicle crash that claimed one person’s life. The crash happened before 8:30 p.m., just north of Meramec Bottom Road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s accident reconstruction team is investigating the crash.
2 dead in separate motorcycle crashes Saturday
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Two people died in two separate motorcycle crashes that happened in the St. Louis area on Saturday. Police say the first crash happened around 2:45 pm. on Highway 61 near Route B in Lincoln County. A 2020 Chevrolet Traverse was going northbound on Highway 61 when a Harley Davidson motorcycle tried to cross the highway.
