71-year-old man hospitalized, arrested for DUI after crash
BENSON COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A 71-year-old man from Sheyenne, ND was arrested for DUI after a crash Sunday just before 2 AM in Benson County. Highway Patrol says Donald Ystaas was driving his Lincoln southbound on Highway 30, 5 miles south of Maddock, when he lost control-- leaving the roadway. The vehicle struck the guardrail for the bridge and began rotating coming to rest facing north in the west ditch.

Body and vehicle of missing Lloyd Liken found in Wells County
The body of a missing 81-year-old Bismarck man was found in rural Wells county Sunday around 3:30 p.m. Lloyd Liken had been missing since November 16, 2023. His body was discovered about 30 miles north of Steele by a farmer from the area checking his fields. Liken was found near his vehicle.
