LIMA — A proposed plea deal was placed on the record by Allen County prosecutors Friday in the case of a Lima woman charged with illegally entering the home of another. Breanna Shurelds has until the close of business on May 17 to accept a plea deal that calls for her to plead guilty to an amended count of burglary, a second-degree felony.

Suspect in Putnam County shooting death case pleads not guilty
OTTAWA — A Lima man charged with a fatal shooting near Leipsic has been arraigned in Ptunam County Common Pleas Court. Konner Dunklee, 26, pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder, an unclassified felony; murder, an unclassified felony; attempt to commit an offense, a first-degree felony; felonious assault, a second-degree felony; and assault, a first-degree misdemeanor. The charges stem from an incident on April 18 at Kitchen Family Trucking, 6302 Pro Tec Parkway (Putnam County Road 5), southeast of Leipsic. Farrah Croninger, 30, Deshler, was found deceased at the scene while Michael Kitchen, 54, Ottawa, also was injured and taken to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.

Putnam grand jury indicts murder suspect
OTTAWA — A Putnam County grand jury on Wednesday returned murder charges against a Lima man charged with killing a woman during a shooting incident last week in Leipsic. Konner Dunklee, 26, was indicted on charges of aggravated murder in the shooting death of Farrah Croninger, 30, of Deshler. Croninger died April 18 when police say he entered Kitchen Enterprises Trucking Company in Leipsic and opened fire. Funeral services were Thursday.

One dead after a two vehicle crash in Putnam County
PUTNAM COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Pandora man was killed when a pickup and SUV collided in Putnam County on Thursday afternoon. 34-year-old Feliciano Ramos-Villa was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the front-seat passenger in an SUV driven by 44-year-old Ramon Ramos-Villa of Leipsic, who was life-flighted to St. Rita's. Lima troopers say he was heading west on County Road M and failed to yield from a stop sign at old State Route 65, pulling out in front of the southbound pickup driven by 31-year-old Andrew Ellerbrock of Ottawa. Villa's car flipped over on its top from the crash impact. Ellerbrock was taken to the ambulatory care center with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
Veteran Lima firefighter retires
LIMA — A Lima firefighter of nearly 35 years is retiring, according to a social media post from the Lima Fire Department. An announcement was posted Thursday on the department’s Facebook page that Battalion Chief Greg Kirkendall has retired. According to the post, Kirkendall served the city as a firefighter for nearly 35 years, serving as a shift commander for 16 years.
