NORRIDGEWOCK, Maine — The Somerset County Sheriff's Office says a man is being held in county jail on several charges after an hours-long standoff in Norridgewock on Monday. Witnesses reportedly called law enforcement to Red Barn Road just before 9 a.m. for an armed man "screaming and hollering" outside his home.
