(25News Now) - Pontiac Softball moved up to 3A this past year, and they’ve already made it to the State Final Four. They knocked off the Mid-Illini’s 3 Champions, Metamora/Dunlap/East Peoria in the Washington regional, then shut down the back-to-back 3A State Champions Lemont in the East Peoria Supersectional. Now they’ll take on Oak Park Fenwick in the State Semifinals on Friday morning for the chance to play in the State Championship in just their first year of 3A competition.

City of Morris recognizes Morris Elementary's state-winning track and field athletes
The Morris City Council and Mayor Chris Brown recognized IESA 3A state-winners Aniston Caputo and Malachi Congo during its meeting Monday night.
