SE Wisconsin hit by 3 EF0 tornadoes in Rock and Jefferson counties
The National Weather Service has confirmed that three EF0 tornadoes touched down in southern Wisconsin, carrying winds between 65 and 80 mph on May 26. The first tornado was confirmed near Footville in Rock County. The storm survey indicated a touchdown location approximately 5 miles east-northeast from Footville. The tornado reached peak winds of 80 mph and caused EF0-rated damage.

National Weather Service update: Tornados Sunday over Lake Koshkonong and east of Janesville confirmed
The National Weather Service (NWS) as of Monday evening has updated its storm map to include tornados on Sunday over Lake Koshkonong and east of Janesville. Earlier on Monday, the map confirmed two weather events in Jefferson County Sunday, including one reported as a “probable tornado” at 5:36 p.m. in rural Jefferson County near County Road K, and a second reported Sunday at 5:35 p.m., described as “on the ground northwest of Whitewater” near U.S. Highway 12.

The steady, widespread rain has moved out southeast Wisconsin with some sun now mixing with the clouds in Rock, Jefferson, and Walworth counties. A low pressure system in SW WI is tracking NE, which is dragging a warm front into southern Wisconsin. This is bringing warmer and more humid air to areas near and SW of Waukesha. There is currently an area of rain over Monroe that hasn't had any lightning yet but will likely strengthen a bit as it works into the region of warmer and more humid air.
