Tractor trailer crashes into North Jersey pharmacy
An Essex County pharmacy is closed after a tractor trailer slammed into the building, fire department officials said. The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy on Route 23 in Cedar Grove was seriously damaged in the Friday morning crash, Fire Department Chief Chris Donlon said. The crash involved two cars in addition to the tractor trailer.
Chatham Milton Avenue School Kindergartners Plant a Kentucky Yellowwood Tree to Celebrate Arbor Day
CHATHAM, NJ -- Chatham Milton Avenue School kindergartners celebrated Arbor Day by helping plant a Kentucky Yellowwood tree in front of their school on Friday. The plant was provided by the Chatham Borough Shade Tree Commission, headed by Colleen Truppo and transported to the school by Chatham arborist, George Sweetin.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Milton Avenue School Principal Kristen Crawford told the kindergartners that the tree belonged to them (see below). Milton Avenue kindergartners took turns scooping dirt on the tree in front of their school (see below). Chatham Superintendent Michael LaSusa also took a turn at shoveling the dirt on the new tree.
