On Saturday, April 27, at approximately 12:05 p.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred on Route DD, about five miles northwest of Gallatin, Missouri. Emilia R. Galbraith, a 45-year-old woman from Hamilton, Missouri, was injured when her 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the east side of the roadway, and overturned, resulting in her ejection.

Men seriously injured in trash truck crash
Two men riding in a trash truck were flown to hospitals Wednesday afternoon following a one-vehicle accident in Grundy County. Driver Preston Ramsey, 71, of Trenton, Missouri, and passenger Caleb Hudson, 34, of Spickard, were seriously injured in the accident, which happened at about 2:10 p.m. on Route CC about two miles west of Brimson. Ramsey didn’t stop at a stop sign, crossed Missouri 146 and went off the south side of the intersection, causing the truck to overturn and come to a rest on its side, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
