Minnesota DNR warns of extreme fire risk in northeast Minnesota
DULUTH, Minn. — The National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning on Tuesday, indicating that northeast Minnesotans are under extreme fire risk until 9 p.m. Affected counties include Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis. On Monday, 13 southwestern counties were placed under a Red Flag Warning for extreme fire risk, as dry and windy conditions are prevalent statewide.
