Moe’s Original BBQ has been serving the St. George community since it first opened during the pandemic in August of 2020. Topeka woman arrested on probation violation Wednesday in Manhattan
MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka woman was in the Riley County Jail on Thursday after her arrest in connection with a probation violation, officials said. The woman, identified as Tiffany Fernandez, 42, was arrested around 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road in Manhattan.

Topeka woman arrested for driving wrong way on I-70 between Shawnee, Wabaunsee counties
WABAUNSEE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka woman was arrested for driving the wrong way on I-70 between Shawnee and Wabaunsee Counties. According to a media release shared by the Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook, around 3:28 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, Shawnee County dispatch received more than a dozen calls about a wrong-way driver traveling westbound in the eastbound lane on I-70. Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office deputies made attempts to intervene but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Topeka man arrested after fleeing from law enforcement
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man was arrested early Sunday morning after attempting to flee from Wabaunsee County authorities. A post to the Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Facebook page says around 4:00 Sunday morning officers attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding near K-4 Highway and Mission Valley Road.
K-State launches online graduate certificate in strategic health communications
MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas State University launched an online graduate certificate in strategic health communications. According to K-State officials, their College of Arts and Sciences and College of Veterinary Medicine launched the new graduate certification program. Classes will begin in fall 2024 and prospective students can apply to the program now.
