RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Damage was seen in central North Carolina on Memorial Day as severe storms triggered tornado warnings and a tornado watch. A couple of storms moved through Monday morning but the most serious severe weather began after 3 p.m., leading to hail, torrential rains and downed trees with power outages.
Power restored for over 900 costumers in Thomasville, according to Duke Energy
