Man Charged in Connection with Drug-Related Death in Franklin County
Daquan Woods, 27, from Harrisburg, faces serious charges after being implicated in the death of Dakota Rowles, 26, due to a drug overdose in Franklin County. Woods was arrested and is being held with bail set at $200,000. He is charged with drug delivery resulting in death, following Rowles’ fatal overdose in December 2022, which involved substances such as fentanyl, heroin, and oxycodone.

Pair arrested on charges stemming from theft, car crash
GRASONVILLE, Md. – Two people were arrested Wednesday evening on theft and other charges. Deputies were called to Walgreens at around 5 p.m. for a reported theft. Arriving officers saw a vehicle returning to the location with two people inside matching the suspect descriptions. The vehicle then allegedly fled the area at a high rate of speed, leading the deputy on a chase. The vehicle drove through the Route 18 drawbridge traffic arm and over the partially open bridge. Deputies on the other side of the bridge found the vehicle after it crashed into the Waterman’s Monument at the corner of Main Street and Kent Narrows Way S. Witnesses told police that the suspects ran behind Fisherman’s Inn Restaurant.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Police have acquired DNA evidence they hope will help them identify the suspects who stole a vehicle from a car dealership in Dover on Monday. The theft happened just before 4 a.m. at Thornton Automotive, when two suspects attempted to steal a Dodge Challenger Hellcat from the showroom by crashing a white Chevy Camaro into the outside wall.
Myersville falls victim to cyberattack through malicious email
A malicious email led to a cyberattack that locked Myersville's staff out of town files in November, town officials said.
