Ashley Furniture announces plans for grand opening on Friday morning

ZANESVILLE − Coconis Furniture and Mattress First will have its grand opening for its first stand-alone Ashley Furniture at 210 El Camino Drive at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, according to Marketing Manager Brian Morgan.The furniture and mattress store will open in the former 20,000-square-foot location of the Coconis carpet store.

The building was renovated with a brand-new interior for the home store.“Ashley is the largest furniture store brand in America,” said Morgan. “With that being said, Ashley of Zanesville will offer folks in southeast Ohio a wide variety of furniture styles and prices to fit most household budgets.”Morgan said there will be lots of specials for customers who come check out the store during its grand opening.“We’ll have special savings plus 0% interest financing available from 6 months to 6 years, depending on the amount purchased,” he said. “Also savings of 25% off sale prices when paying with cash, check, or credit card, or even six months 0% financing.”

He said they’ll also offer Ashley bonus cash from $100 to $500 depending on the amount purchased, which is good toward additional furniture or mattresses.The store brings 12 to 15 jobs to Zanesville. Its ribbon cutting ceremony is Thursday afternoon.Ashley Furniture has more than 1,000 stores nationwide.
