A Realtor report from October 2023 lists the cheapest places to buy a mansion and here's what we found.
1. Indianapolis, Indiana
This city is continuously at the top of the list! According to Realtor, 3% of single-family homes in Indianapolis are under $1 million and larger than 5,000 square feet.
2. Atlanta, Georgia
Similar to Indianapolis, Atlanta has a ton of opportunity for large homes. You can get a six-bedroom, 5,500 square-foot home for less than $500,000.
3. Baltimore, Maryland
If you want a huge historical home for cheap, Baltimore is the place o go. For less than $700,000 you can get an early 1900s condo that's 5,000 square feet with "original woodwork." So basically, it's your own personal museum.
