UJ Basketball Pulls Off Saturday Sweep
Jamestown N.D.- Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams were in action Saturday morning inside the Newman Arena in Jamestown. The women would pick up their fifth win of the season, as they outlasted a very game St. Mary’s team in the opener. The Jimmies had control early on in the first quarter, only to watch the Flames splash a plethora of three-pointers to steal an early lead. Jamestown would regroup as they took a 45-40 lead into the half, led by Kate Cordes, who finished with a team-high 29 points.
Jamestown Blue Jays get the better of Minot (N.D.) Magicians
