YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Efforts to update the locker room space for Youngstown State’s women’s soccer team received a boost Thursday.

Executives with Premier Bank donated $10,000 to the university’s soccer program. The money will help offset the team’s fundraising efforts to pay for locker room renovations at Stambaugh Stadium.

The overall project will cost about $50,000.

“They’re doing a capital campaign for their women’s locker room for their soccer team, and we’re a good fit for that. The need is there and we are always looking to support the student athletes,” said Josh Toot, market president for Premier Bank.

The locker room project is to be completed this summer.
