Country music star Gilbert plans August concert at Kettering’s Fraze Pavilion
A country music star with back-to-back platinum albums will be returning to the Dayton area this summer with a show at Kettering’s Fraze Pavilion. Brantley Gilbert’s concert at the city-owned 4,300-seat outdoor venue is set for 8 p.m. Aug. 30 as part of his “Off The Rails Tour 2024,″ according to the Fraze’s website.

Dayton native Philip Drennen’s new musical “The Big Gay Jamboree” will open off-Broadway this fall. Drennen, a graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, co-wrote the music and lyrics with the show’s star Marla Mindelle, who co-wrote the book with Jonathan Parks-Ramage.
