La Salle baseball keeps grinding; how it fared against South Kingstown
PROVIDENCE — The next couple of weeks could do everything to change how La Salle will remember this baseball season. This hasn’t been a vintage version of the Rams to date but there is still hope. The runner-up in Division I last year has the talent on paper to make another deep playoff push and Tuesday's game at Toti Baseball Diamond served as evidence. ...

COVENTRY - A perennial nemesis handed the Coventry baseball team a costly defeat on Monday afternoon, one that the Oakers will hope to quickly recover from. Portsmouth, the team responsible for eliminating Coventry from the playoffs in each of the last two seasons, blasted the Oakers by a 12-1 final in their latest encounter, riding a pair of five-run frames en route to the lopsided rout.

Baseball Recap: Coventry comes up short despite Logan Downey's strong performance
If Coventry was feeling good off their 10-1 takedown of Mt. Hope last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coventry Oakers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Lions on Friday. Coventry was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lincoln apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
