WORCESTER — Yellow tulips are brightening up City Hall and the Worcester police station as part of a nationwide push to raise awareness about mental health and substance abuse issues. The Yellow Tulip Project, a local initiative of the Mayor's Mental Health Task Force, is organized by Open Sky Community Services. Other beds of tulips can be found at the HeartWell Institute on Pleasant Street, the Worcester Senior Center on Providence Street and Open Sky offices on Mann Street. May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
