WOODSTOCK, Conn. (WWLP) – Police were seen surrounding a home in the northeastern part of Connecticut for hours on Wednesday with armed suspects said to be barricaded inside.

Springfield man charged with arson at Behavioral Health Network’s office

Police in Woodstock are calling it a burglary gone wrong. Neighbors in the area were evacuated from their homes while police investigated. Police say they were first called to the home after men with baseball bats forced their way inside just before Noon on Wednesday.

They say one suspect left the house when ordered to and is cooperating with police. Plus, one woman who was in the home at the time was able to escape. Police have not given an update on just how many people were involved in this incident.
