Blaze Ravages South Farmingdale Home: Arson Bomb Squad on the Case!
The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 2:50 p.m. in South Farmingdale. According to Detectives, Officers responded to a 911 call for heavy smoke at a West Oak Street residence. Upon arrival, officers observed a fire on the first floor. All occupants were out of the residence prior to police arrival. The South Farmingdale Fire Department along with the East Farmingdale, Bethpage, and North Massapequa Fire Departments responded and extinguished the flames. Approximately 50 firefighters were on scene. No injuries were reported. The building suffered moderate structural damage along with variant degrees of smoke, fire, and water damage. The Nassau County Fire Marshall and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives was on scene.

Wyandanch Man Sentenced To 13 Years In Prison For 2023 Violent Armed Home Invasion In Central Islip
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney today announced that Beresford Hall, 45, of Wyandanch, was sentenced to 13 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty in March to Burglary in the First Degree, for forcibly entering a Central Islip home armed with a gun while a family was inside, pistol whipping a teenager, zip-tying multiple family members, and stealing more than $6,000 in cash and jewelry.
2 indicted for murder in case of bodies found scattered in Long Island parks
Jeffrey Mackey, 36, and Alexis Nieves, 33, are each charged with murder, conspiracy, hindering prosecution, tampering with evidence and concealment of a corpse in the Feb. 27 killings of Malcolm “Craig” Brown, 53, and Donna Conneely, 59, in Amityville. Two others are charged with helping to cover up the crime.

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. -- Two of four people charged after body parts were found scattered across part of Long Island were indicted for murder on Monday. According to Suffolk County prosecutors, Alexis Nieves and her boyfriend Jeffrey Mackey killed Malcolm Brown and his partner Donna Conneely and dismembered their bodies. Man accused of flashing ‘gun’ during CT road rage incident
DARIEN, CT (WFSB) - A man faces a list of charges after state police said he showed what was later found to be a BB gun during a reported case of road rage in Darien. Dae Jesus Acosta, 24, of Central Falls, RI, was charged with illegal possession of a weapon in motor vehicle, interfering with an officer/resisting, second-degree breach of peace, and first-degree threatening.
