Police: 2 boys arrested for breaking into Woodbridge store, stealing vapes

WOODBRIDGE, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Two 12 year old boys were arrested after breaking into a store and stealing vape products.

On March 22, around 1:30 a.m., officers from the Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) responded to the Crystal Smoke Shop, located at 2680 Opitz Blvd., after an alarm was activated.

When officers arrived, they saw two people run away on foot. They were both arrested after a short chase.

The two were both identified as 12 year old boys and vape products from the store were recovered from them.

An investigation revealed that the boys threw a rock which shattered the front door before they went in and stole stuff, according to PWCPD.

The two boys were held at the Juvenile Detention Center. They were charged with burglary.
