    Ty Kobylakiewicz of Woodbridge Named to All-NJAC Baseball First Team

    WAYNE, NJ -- Ty Kobylakiewicz, a 2023 Woodbridge High School graduate, has been named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference's baseball first team.

    Kobylakiewicz is a freshman first baseman at William Paterson University, where he batted .368 with five home runs and 28 riuns batted in this season.

    The right-handed batter hit 13 doubles and led WPU with an OPS (on-base plus slugging percentage) of .999.

    A three-year letterwinner at Woodbridge H.S., Kobylakiewicz helped lead the Barrons to back-to-back 20+ win seasons for the first time in school history

    He was named a first-team all-division, all-conference and all-Group and third-team all-state selection as well as an academic all-conference honoree and the recipient of the Greater Middlesex Conference (GMC) Sportsmanship Award as a senior captain.

    Kobylakiewicz batted .479 with 34 hits, 30 runs scored, 25 RBI and three home runs for a team that went 20-6 and finished as a state sectional semifinalist in 2023.

    His father, Chris, was a quarterback at Woodbridge H.S. in the 1990s.
