Charleston man in custody after shots fired at neighbor, Kanawha County deputies
KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Charleston man is facing charges after deputies said he shot at a neighbor and then responding officers in Kanawha County on Friday. Chase Jeffrey Nelson, 32, of Charleston, allegedly shot at his neighbor, Gilbert Schoolcraft, with a handgun at about 11 a.m. near their homes along Coonskin Drive, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Kanawha County Magistrates Court.
