Country music icon to tour at the Buddy Holly Hall, Fall 2024
Lubbock, TX – May 13, 2024 – Country music icon, Wynonna Judd, is thrilled to announce the expansion of her highly anticipated Back to Wy Tour with over a dozen additional dates scheduled for this September, in response to fan enthusiasm and demand. Wynonna Judd will be at The Buddy Holly Hall on September 8 at 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 17 at 10am CST.

Lubbock musicians join forces for Cactus Theater benefit concert for Don Caldwell
Dozens of Lubbock-area musicians will lend their talents for a benefit concert Saturday to support longtime Lubbock musician, producer and civic icon Don Caldwell. Caldwell has been hospitalized due to complications following cancer treatment, according to organizers with Broadway Festivals Inc., where he serves as president and CEO. Fellow musicians and friends are coming together to show him support, as he is unable to work during this time, for a concert set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cactus Theater, 1812 Buddy Holly Ave.
Katharina Wagner will lead the Bayreuth Festival for 5 more years
BERLIN (AP) — The Bayreuth Festival in Germany announced on Tuesday that it is retaining Katharina Wagner as its director for another five years. Wagner, who turns 46 on May 21 and is a great-granddaughter of Richard Wagner, became co-head of the festival in September 2008, along with her half-sister Eva Wagner-Pasquier. Katharina then took over as sole head in 2015.
