Firefighters respond to two-alarm house fire in Central
CENTRAL, La. (WAFB) - An investigator is working to determine what caused a house fire that required firefighters from multiple departments to extinguish. According to the Central Fire Department, the fire happened around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, in the 1700 block of Lake Vista Drive near Lakeside Drive. Responding firefighters reportedly found heavy fire coming from the house, and a second alarm was struck, adding additional engines and chiefs from the Baton Rouge Fire Department and East Side Fire Department.
