Topsail softball's Rylee Reuter named StarNews Athlete of the Week

Bringing in a decisive 79% of this week's fan vote, Topsail softball player Rylee Reuter is the StarNews Athlete of the Week.

The senior was nominated for her big game against West Brunswick last Friday where she went 2-for-3 with five RBIs and two home runs as the Pirates sailed past the Trojans 10-0.

Reuter is batting .333 with a team-best 15 RBIs and three home runs this spring while scoring 10 runs. Topsail currently sits in a three-way tie for the Mideastern Conference's top spot.
