Intracoastal Angler To Grow With Two New Hampstead Stores
Wilmington-based Intracoastal Angler has plans to grow with two new locations in Hampstead. The expansion “marks a significant milestone” for the long-time fishing gear and tackle shop, according to a news release Tuesday announcing the new stores. Intracoastal Angler currently serves the Wilmington area at its store on Oleander Drive, offering everything from rods and reels to bait, sunglasses, fishing tackle and branded apparel.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The Derby4Dogs charity event benefiting paws4people is set for Saturday, May 4, at CFCC Union Station. From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., guests can expect cocktails, a bourbon bar and hors d’oeuvres. Guests will be able to place a “bet” on which puppy they think will win the puppy derby, a live and silent auction and to watch the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby. No money will actually be wagered on the puppy derby.
